Confidence in talking to women is not easily achieved. Some guys take years before they gather enough courage to muster a word when talking to women. How you dress and present your self is very important and is the primary thing in building self-confidence.

Women are attracted to confident men, which is why it is important to put confidence first. In doing so, everything will follow. This is why a man should analyze himself: is it the way he looks. Is it the way he dresses up? Or maybe it's about the way he talks to people? In other words, a man must have himself analyzed of the possible things that will hinder him from achieving confidence. Get rid of those insecurities, no matter what they are. Do something about these insecurities and do not let them hinder you from mustering enough confidence. if you know that this girl is attracted to the smart guy in class, then simply be the smartest guy in class. Use this insecurity as a motivation for you. I tell you what, once you overcome this insecurity, you will surprisingly find that you will feel more confident about yourself. It will lead you to feeling good and then you will find yourself talking with confidence.

Now we are done with reinventing yourself. You are aware of how you present yourself to the outside world. Let's say you are out in a club or a restaurant or in a bookstore and you want to approach that gorgeous looking lady. Next thing you do is make eye contact to let her know that you are interested. Create eye contact but do not stare. Looking and staring are two different things. Look as if you just saw an angel standing where she is, and that you are awed and excited to approach her. Again be mindful of your actions. When you have her gaze try to smile. There is something disarming about a smile that even men and women can't resist. Of course give her your genuine smile like you are happy to see her. If she smiles back then that is your queue to approach her. Just be respectful and charming and you will be ok.

If you are always hanging around in the background, not only will he never be able to miss you, but it's likely he'll get used to thinking of you as his sure thing back up plan. Not exactly the way you want him to think of you.
